U15 Wins Northeast Pack

Cranberry Township, PA- The U14, U15, U16, and U18 teams traveled to the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex for the Northeast Pack Playoffs over the weekend. The U15 team was the story as they took down the host Pittsburgh Penguins Elite in the Finals. The U15 team played the Buffalo Jr. Sabres on Friday morning and came away with a 3-2 win on the back of Pavel Bocharov’s power play goal late in the 2nd period. On Saturday, Ray Mueller got the scoring started as he banged home a pass from behind the goal line to give the Saints a 1-0 lead. The Pens would tie the game on the PP late in the first before Hudson Blue picked up a puck in the neutral zone and snapped one home from the top of the circles. The Pens would tie the game late in the first. After a scoreless 2nd period, the U15 team went to the power play after Brandon Crowell drew a penalty. Nate Casey banged home a rebound on the back door off a shot from Luke Schelter to give the Saints a 3-2 lead. Jack Spicer (won both games) was stellar in net all weekend leading the Saints to a Northeast Pack Championship! Congratulations to Coach Gainey and all of the players and staff!

Northeast Pack Playoffs

Woonsocket, RI- On Thursday, our four national bound teams head to Pittsburgh, PA for the Northeast Pack Playoffs. The games will be played at UPMC Lemieux Ice Complex kicking off Friday morning. The U16 and U18 teams finished as the Northeast Pack Regular Season Champions while the U15 team finished 2nd and the U14 team finished 5th. We wish the best of luck to all of our teams.

Successful Weekend For All

Another successful weekend for the program as the four teams went a combined 8-1-1 throughout the weekend. The U15, U16, and U18 teams traveled to Hackensack, NJ for the final regular season Northeast Pack Event of the season. The U16 and U18 teams went undefeated and bolstered their National Rankings. The U15 team tied #4 Selects Hockey Academy 4-4 in a very high tempo game. The U14 team beat Seacoast Performance Academy U15 American over the weekend at home.

              After the final horn, the U16 and U18 teams officially claimed the Northeast Pack Regular Season titles. The 16s finished the regular season with a 10-3-3 record while the 18s finished the regular season 12-1-1. The playoffs start next Friday in Pittsburgh, PA. Look for more updates next week.
