Merrimack College- The U18 Saints returned from winter break to play in the True Cup which consisted of a field of the top schools in North America. The Saints opened up play against top ranked Shattuck St. Mary’s who had beaten the U18 team 8-4 back at the Cushing Showcase. It was a different story here as Cole Crusberg-Roseen scored an overtime winner to beat Shattuck 4-3. Ethan Pearson was excellent in net for the Saints. The next challenge was Northwood who the Saints beat 5-0 back at the Cushing event in November. Saturday, it was a much closer game as the Saints got a late goal from Ryan Gordon to beat Northwood 6-5. Bennett Jung got the win in net. On Sunday, the U18 team took on St. Andrew’s College for the championship. Ethan Pearson again stood tall leading the Saints to a 3-1 win. This marks the second championship for the U18 Saints as the team won the New England Regional Championship.

The Saints return to action this weekend with a pair of home games against Stanstead College.
