Learn To Skate - The focus and goal of the Learn to Skate (LTS) curriculums are designed to teach beginner hockey players the fundamentals of skating. It’s important for these players to become comfortable on the ice, learn the basic hockey stance, stride, knee bend, use of edges and how to hold a stick before moving into a learn to play, 6U or 8U full hockey curriculum.

3 -- 8 week sessions
Each session is $100.00

Learn To Play - The philosophy of this level of Learn To Play (LTP) is to promote the game for players ages 4-12 and various skill levels in a safe and organized environment. We strive to foster camaraderie, friendship and physical fitness while maintaining a fun, enjoyable and exciting atmosphere. At this level we introduce players to the game and work on fundamentals. Station based practices focus on puck touches, edge work, passing, shooting and promote creativity.

3 -- 8 week sessions
Each session is $100.00

Jr. Saints - We will also be forming a Jr. Saints team that is for 2012/2013 birth year players. This team will participate in the Southern New England Hockey Conference and participate in cross ice games. The RI Saints stand by optimal development and cross ice hockey will provide players a quality and FUN game.

September - February

Saints Development Learn To Skate, Learn To Play and Mite Development Programs focus on your child and their skill development while having fun in an affordable and wonderful atmosphere.

If your child has never skated before, your best option is the Learn To Skate program.

If your child has a decent base of skills in skating, they are probably ready for the Learn To Play Hockey program.

Once a good base of hockey skills is achieved, your child is ready for Mite Development or travel programs. These programs have varying levels of cost and travel commitments to fit your needs.
